What is CREATIVE REUSE?
Creative Reuse is what we are all about! Also known as upcycling or repurposing, creative reuse is when you add creativity to an already manufactured item and give it a new (or renewed) function.
REVAMP collects excess materials from the public that can be reused and given new life. We prevent resources from becoming waste by reselling these supplies to the public for a bargain. Donations are also passed along to local teachers, and help supply community workshops and events with creative materials.
Every purchase supports arts education, diverts waste from landfills, and fuels creativity across Tuolumne County!
How to donate
If you have a “banker’s box” size box or a grocery bag of donations, you can drop them off anytime the store is open (check for the latest hours).
If you have a larger donation, please follow these steps:
- Call our donation line at 209.651.0066 or email jen@tuolumnecountyarts.org and tell us the size of your donation and make a donation appointment.
- Make sure your items are CLEAN, well organized, and still usable.
- Meet at the scheduled time, either at our shop at 21 N. Washington or schedule a pick-up at your location, and receive a receipt for tax purposes – REVAMP is a non-profit project!
THANK YOU! Your donations supports arts education, diverts waste from landfills, and fuels creativity across Tuolumne County!
